Main page |> Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is that profitable and valuable businesses that create value for both customers and companies are produced by effective leaders, executives, managers, and their teams.
Effective leaders, executives, and managers are created by developing people who are skilled in living and working with others, in listening, in creating possibilities for the future and fulfilling them through coordinated action. Therefore, developing more capable human beings is the foundation for building more successful businesses.
We believe that the work of leading thinkers in this century has provided the foundation for a true discipline of management. We are committed to contributing to the development of this discipline and to make it available in the world. We assist people and businesses to declare new possibilities and new value for the future, and to generate the actions to realize that future.

Recent advances in thinking provide a new foundation for more effective management. This foundation allows us to build practices for developing pragmatic, embodied skills in action for producing effective leadership, management, and building value and power in business.
This new discipline, which we have been participating in developing over the last nineteen years, is built on the foundations of the work of Dr. Fernando Flores and Dr. Richard Heckler, as well as other leaders and thinkers from a number of fields, including: the biologists Drs. Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela; continental philosophers, particularly Martin Heidegger; the philosophers of language John Austin and John Searle; and George Leonard's insights into the role of practices in producing mastery.
We use the work of these thinkers to provide an approach that has three foundations for new power-in-action: - The Language-Action perspective: where we become observers of how action comes from commitment and commitment from listening and conversation; this enables us to build skills of more effective action and teamwork
- The Somatic Leadership approach: where we see how we must shift our bodies to enhance our skills of leadership, and enter into exercises that enable us to produce a calm center for action when facing chaos
- The Practice Path to Mastery: any excellence in action comes only through long-term practice, we forget this in how we educate ourselves; we engage you in relevant practices for leadership and management, and support you in practicing for mastery.
