Artemis Joukowsky, III
Artemis Joukowsky, III, M.A., is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur. He is also an ontological and business coach, and is a trained psychologist. Artemis is an affiliate partner and a member of the faculty of Enterprise Design. Throughout his career he has been an investor, coach and advisor to a numerous individuals and organizations.
From 1990 to the present he has been a "venture coach," a socially concerned entrepreneur and venture capitalist as a partner or advisor to four venture funds. He is a Co-founder and Advisor of Solstice Capital, a $22 million early stage venture capital fund in Boston. He is an Advisor of Utah Ventures II, a $60 million fund based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a co-founder and the Vice-Chairman of AquaFuture, an innovative fish farming technology company located in Turners Falls, MA. He co-founded Highland Energy Group, now EUA/Highland, a part of $50 million subsidiary of Eastern Utilities Association, a $2 billion New York Stock Exchange company. He is a co-founder of Rios de Energia, a $20 million International Energy Conservation Fund.
From 1985-1990 Artemis led vision quests with his company, Wilderness Passage, in Vermont and was a practicing counselor. In addition, he has co-founded a number of non-profits, including Vermont Community Loan Fund and Food Works and he serves on the Board of Directors of Hampshire College, The Eliot Montessori School, The American Community School of Beirut, Lebanon, and the Greyston Foundation. Artemis has a B.A. in Social Ecology from Hampshire College, and an M.A. in Psychology Counseling from Goddard College, and advanced coaching degrees from Logonet, Newfield Network, Business Design Associates, Kairos, and Enterprise Design. Tim lives with his wife Margaret and their three daughters Lydia, Alexandra, and Natasha in Sherborn, MA.
